About

  • Firm Story

Reeves & Brightwell LLP is an Austin law firm that provides client-centered litigation services in high-stakes commercial disputes. The firm was founded by a team of “big firm” lawyers, including two longstanding litigation partners from Vinson & Elkins LLP. Our lawyers include a former Travis County Bar Association president, former judicial clerks to the Texas Supreme Court, federal district courts, and United States Courts of Appeals, and former officers of the Texas and Tulane Law Reviews.

We work with our clients, who range from members of the Fortune 500 to individuals and start-ups, with a pragmatic and cost-effective approach. Our practice focuses on business disputes among high-tech entities. We also have significant appellate and class-action experience. Although Reeves & Brightwell’s clients are Austin-focused, the firm enjoys a national practice and has litigated in federal and state courts across the country.

Reeves & Brightwell offers high-quality legal analysis and strategy with the flexibility and cost savings of a smaller firm. Collectively, the firm’s lawyers use the lessons learned in decades of hard-fought litigation to advocate on behalf of our clients. With unwavering dedication to our clients, Reeves & Brightwell offers passionate lawyering and a practical, experienced approach to litigating complex cases.
