Grayson is a commercial litigator. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in governmental and internal investigations. She has prepared pre-trial and trial motions and responses, jury instructions and objections, and post-trial motions and responses. She has tried several cases to jury verdicts as a visiting prosecutor in municipal court. Grayson enjoys pro bono work, and has represented clients in need in state and federal courts. Before joining Reeves & Brightwell, Grayson served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Danny J. Boggs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She also practiced as a Complex Commercial Litigation associate in Vinson & Elkins LLP’s Austin office. A mother of two, she taught and tutored high-school English before pursuing a career in law.

  • Lead associate on the litigation team in case where court granted dismissal of suit involving the alleged sale of recalled products by third parties on website against e-commerce retailer in Mississippi federal court
  • Assisted in the representation of large, Texas-based retailer in an SEC investigation
  • Assisted in the defense of an international mining company in toxic tort action in Oklahoma federal court, in which claims of nuisance, trespass, and strict liability were asserted
  • Assisted in the representation of the Audit Committee of a multinational technology company with an independent investigation into the company’s compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in China, in connection with an ongoing investigation before the SEC and DOJ
  • Assisted in the defense of a U.S. affiliate of a foreign corporation in a criminal antitrust investigation before the DOJ Antitrust Division, involving secondary auto parts
  • Assisted in pro bono appellate representation of deported immigrant who petitioned the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit for review of Board of Immigration Appeals orders
  • Represented pro bono client in contested divorce proceeding
